About the Role

The Special Processes Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, analysis, optimization, and supervision of specialized industrial processes at the plant. Under the guidance of senior engineers or project leaders, this role focuses on operational data analysis, continuous improvement, implementation of technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. The engineer also actively participates in innovation projects and provides technical support for operational problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• →Process analysis and optimization: Identify areas for improvement, propose technical solutions, and apply engineering principles to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and reduce costs.
• →SOP management: Participate in the development, updating, and implementation of standard operating procedures ensuring compliance with standards.
• →Equipment and system improvement: Support the design, adjustments, and optimization of operational parameters to maximize performance and reliability.
• →Quality control: Collaborate in quality checks of products and special processes, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
• →Continuous improvement projects: Contribute to technological initiatives, reduction of cycle times, and process optimization through data analysis.
• →Data analysis and documentation: Collect information, prepare performance reports, and document activities and implemented improvements.
• →Technical support: Resolve operational problems, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions with different areas.
• →Regulatory compliance: Ensure operation under safety, environmental, and energy standards, identifying risks and proposing preventive measures.
• →Training and technical assistance: Provide support to operational staff in the proper use of equipment and procedures.
• →Research and development: Participate in projects of new technologies that improve plant competitiveness.
• →ISO standards compliance: Promote and apply guidelines of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
• →Incident and risk management: Report hazards, improvement opportunities, and environmental impacts, and comply with operational control in their area.
• →Emergency response: Know and execute the corresponding emergency plan.
• →Safety, Environment, and Energy policies: Apply and promote these policies in daily activities.
• →Quality system: Contribute to the SlpP quality system and comply with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and CQI standards.
