THE OPPORTUNITY
CONTEXT:
Our IT department, international in scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and in full growth, is made up of around fifty experts in charge of the deployment and operation of the Ivalua Cloud, which hosts the environments for our clients around the world. It is also responsible for internal IT infrastructures, IT applications, and data, as well as IT support for our users.
As our Singapore office is growing rapidly, we are looking for an IT Desktop administrator who will contribute to the day to day IT support activity, to the constant modern workplace management evolution and to help with a couple of office management duties.
ROLE:
This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Specialist at Ivalua. You will report to the APAC IT Director and serve as the local IT administrator for the Ivalua office in Singapore . You will also operate as part of the Level 2 support team within the IT Global Service Center which provides IT services on a 24/7 basis to the whole company.
You make sure to provide the best IT service quality to the various population of users and collaborate daily with the global Ivalua Infrastructure & IT Support & Cybersecurity community.
You also act as the local office management contact and help the global facilities team to ensure a productive and positive work environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support:
β’ Resolving IT support requests from employees, logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed,
β’ Be the first level of Support for Ivalua employeeβs, where ever they are located (office, home office or traveling abroad)
β’ Install and maintain all the equipment provided to our users (laptops, workstations, IT accessories, etc.). Install & keep updated all softwares, drivers and OS.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware, and be the local IT support contact for the infrastructure(Active directory, Local Network, WAN, local servers & data centers, etc.)
β’ Deploy and maintain the collaboration solutions (meeting rooms, video conferencing & VOIP solutions, messaging/document sharing and IM tools, etc.)
β’ Perform onboarding of new employees and also offboarding checklist of departing employees
β’ Be the local IT Security contact: check and apply security policies, collaborate with Infosec team and work with Ivalua global SOC team on cyberthreats analysis & remediation
β’ Provide hands-on technical expertise in the local office for Global IT, contribute to the workplace management technologies evolution & maintenance
β’ Manage IT stock and supplies, update the IT inventory and help with IT procurement & delivery tasks
Office Management:
β’ Order Thursday lunch,
β’ Make sure office is properly maintained,
β’ Doing some office repair if needed,
β’ Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive and positive work environment,
β’ Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
YOUR PROFILE
If you have the following experience and strengths, this role could be a great fit for you:
Skills and Experience:
β’ At least 5+ years of server support experience in a similar role, especially in an global company and IT organization context
β’ Good overall knowledge of IT: Networking, Windows 10/11, computer master/MDT, Active Directory & DNS/DHCP, printing, Antivirus, Windows Update, etc.
β’ Basic ITIL process understanding, some experience in using ticketing, asset management and monitoring solutions
β’ Experience in managing Dell computers, and technology like Microsoft Intune and SSCM is a real bonus
β’ Relevant OS (Windows/Linux/etc.) certifications.
β’ Basic Cybersecurity knowledge and practices.
β’ BE/BTech or Masterβs degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent).
β’ Experience in the payments industry is preferred.
β’ Experience in the procurement domain is a plus.
