About the Role
IXL Learning is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join their product team. The ideal candidate will help take products from initial brainstorm to final launch, working collaboratively across multiple teams including Engineering, Visual Design, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- →Deeply understand the needs of student, teacher, and parent users, and advocate for user experience throughout all phases of product development
- →Write and communicate product requirements, conduct product reviews
- →Collaborate with visual designers to co-create effective, engaging product experiences
- →Partner with engineering teams to align technical designs with product needs
- →Collaborate with marketing to ensure successful product launches
- →Coordinate with teams and leads across functions to share information and provide clarity on product and project statuses
- →Forge strong partnerships with product leads, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field
- ✓1-3 years of experience in product management or adjacent roles
- ✓Demonstrated technical abilities; some computer science coursework or programming experience preferred
- ✓Highly developed analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong written and spoken communication skills
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams
- ✓Enthusiasm for tackling tough problems independently
- ✓Exceptionally organized self-starter
- ✓Interest in K-12 education; classroom/teaching experience a plus
