About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join the Frontend Foundations team at Jane. This role focuses on building modern, scalable frontend infrastructure that enables product teams to solve domain-specific problems. You'll work on systems and standards that every product team at Jane builds on, including Module Federation, build tooling, and the Burrito design system.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead medium-complexity platform projects end-to-end, from design through delivery
- →Contribute to Module Federation infrastructure and define new expansions
- →Improve developer experience through automation and tooling
- →Participate in maintaining the Burrito design system
- →Conduct thorough code reviews and provide clear async communication
- →Advocate for pragmatic AI adoption and mentor others on effective AI workflows
Requirements
- ✓Significant professional experience as a frontend or platform engineer
- ✓Strong JavaScript fundamentals and experience with modern build tooling
- ✓Familiarity with Module Federation concepts
- ✓Experience creating clean, well-tested, documented code
- ✓Familiarity with observability tooling like Sentry or Datadog
- ✓Experience working with AI tools and workflows
