About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our remote-first, global team at Jerry.ai. This role focuses on building scalable backend systems and automation tools for insurance servicing, policy management, and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build automation systems that handle complex insurance servicing tasks end-to-end
- →Design backend pipelines that sync customer policy data and deliver timely alerts
- →Optimize and scale internal tools to reduce agent intervention
- →Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering ops to improve customer retention
- →Work asynchronously across time zones with minimal meetings but strong collaboration
- →Continuously improve backend systems, APIs, and microservice architecture
Requirements
- ✓At least 5 years of full stack engineering experience building production-grade software
- ✓Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and systems design
- ✓Experience with large scale distributed systems for consumer-facing software
- ✓Problem-solving skills for tackling ambiguous problems and breaking them down into actionable code
- ✓Ownership mindset with responsibility for end-to-end outcomes
- ✓Excellent communication skills for working asynchronously with a global team
