About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team at JetBrains, focusing on our flagship project management tool, YouTrack. This role involves challenging our existing vision, bringing innovative ideas, and executing them with a rigorous approach to analytics and qualitative customer research.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with customers and partners to understand their use cases and pain points, developing responsive solutions for the product.
- →Evaluate existing subsystems to discover and prioritize opportunities for improvement based on business impact, customer value, and product vision.
- →Create clear comprehensive functional design descriptions in collaboration with UX and engineering teams.
- →Define key metrics and monitor product adoption, user engagement, and feature impact.
- →Drive the timely delivery of features, ensuring a high-quality, positive user experience.
- →Maintain the product roadmap.
- →Stay on top of competitive landscape and market trends, identifying opportunities for differentiation.
- →Work with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to define product positioning, create launch plans, and develop go-to-market strategies.
- →Champion YouTrack internally and externally by acting as a product evangelist and delivering demos or presentations.
- →Act as a collaborator and mentor within the product team, helping set best practices for product management.
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience (5+ years) in product management for B2B products.
- ✓Familiarity with project management tools and frameworks.
- ✓A strong track record of owning a product throughout its entire life cycle.
- ✓Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- ✓A data-driven mindset and the ability to get insights from usage, analytics, and user feedback.
- ✓The ability to balance technical complexity, usability, and business needs in prioritization and roadmap decisions.
- ✓Experience in engaging with customers, building empathy with their workflows and challenges.
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as the ability to present clearly to both technical and business audiences.
