About the Role
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our team working on the Toolbox App, the central hub for managing all JetBrains IDEs and development tools. This role involves driving the migration from our legacy metadata delivery system to modern infrastructure and developing robust backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the migration from our legacy metadata delivery system to the new, modern infrastructure
- →Design, develop, and optimize core features of the Toolbox infrastructure
- →Work closely with team members to define the architecture and technical roadmap
- →Take full ownership of key backend components from concept through deployment
Requirements
- ✓Solid programming experience with Java or Kotlin
- ✓Experience with CI tools is a plus
- ✓Experience with the Spring framework
- ✓Ability to quickly understand, analyze, and contribute to existing codebases
- ✓Strong capacity to grasp new concepts rapidly
- ✓Proactive mindset with a willingness to propose new ideas
