About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Player team, building and optimizing world-class video playback experiences for millions of users on iOS and tvOS. This role focuses on developing scalable systems and solving complex technical problems to drive the company's mission forward.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement new features related to media playback for a seamless user experience
- →Build performant and resilient applications and frameworks while promoting engineering best practices
- →Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship high-impact features
- →Optimize app performance metrics, reduce crash rates, and manage memory effectively
- →Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues encountered across various Apple platforms
- →Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical excellence
Requirements
- ✓Extensive experience building and scaling complex iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
- ✓Strong grasp of UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and concurrency in iOS development
- ✓Experience with streaming technologies, protocols like HLS and DASH, and AVKit frameworks
- ✓Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and architectural patterns like MVVM and VIPER
- ✓Proficiency with unit testing frameworks, CI/CD systems, Git, and agile methodologies
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work in ambiguity
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓4+ years of iOS development experience with Swift
