About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to analyze integrated datasets to extract value that directly influences business decisions. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to identify areas of value, develop solutions, and deliver insights that reduce costs and improve clinical outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Interpret and analyze data from multiple sources including healthcare provider, member/patient, and third-party data
- →Lead the planning and execution of large-scale projects and new reporting tools
- →Identify and resolve data, process, and technical issues
- →Partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
- →Independently engage with business leaders to understand market-specific levers and constraints
- →Leverage enterprise reporting tools to deliver data-driven insights
- →Research business problems and identify opportunities for cost and utilization improvements
- →Communicate and present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- →Mentor junior analysts on analytic best practices
- →Delegate tasks to junior analysts, providing guidance and validation
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field; Master’s preferred
- ✓5+ years of experience with large databases, data verification, and data management
- ✓Working knowledge of SQL/querying languages
- ✓Experience with programmatic coding languages such as Python and R preferred
- ✓Knowledge of statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques
- ✓Experience with report/dashboard development and data quality governance preferred
