Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze business requirements in the context of business intelligence
- →Design efficient data models and re-engineer existing ones for accuracy and maintainability
- →Clean, shape, and transform data for meaningful insights using ETL processes
- →Build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports
- →Integrate data from various sources including local files, Teams, and DOD/DON/USMC programs
- →Collaborate with data owners, internal customers, and technology teams to build effective solutions
- →Manage permissions and view access to secure Power BI reports
- →Troubleshoot issues with reports and data connections
- →Develop tutorials and content for end user reference on Power BI topics
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of Power BI experience
- ✓CompTIA Security+ certification
- ✓Proficiency in Power Query and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
- ✓Intermediate SQL skills for querying and managing databases
- ✓Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data sets
- ✓Experience with data modeling and understanding relational database design
- ✓Familiarity with JSON, XML, HTML, and programming languages like PowerShell, .NET, JavaScript, or C#
- ✓Knowledge of Power BI platform including Admin APIs, Activity Logs, Service Administration, and governance
- ✓Effective communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Ability to troubleshoot and solve data-related issues efficiently
- ✓Adaptability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
