About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join Juniper Square, a company digitizing private markets. This role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive manual and automation testing efforts, focusing on mobile and web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review product requirements, UX designs, and technical specifications to identify test scenarios for mobile applications
- →Work closely with the development team to identify test cases that can be automated for new feature releases
- →Design, develop, and execute test cases against product features of mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)
- →Maintain automation framework (Appium) to ensure infrastructure reliability
- →Contribute to development teams on best practices, processes, and problem-solving
- →Develop automated test result reports and highlight potential quality risks
- →Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution
- →Advocate for automation and partner with engineering team leads
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- ✓2-4 years in Software Quality Assurance, with focus on mobile and web application testing
- ✓Proven experience in building and maintaining automated tests for mobile applications and/or APIs
- ✓Hands-on experience in manual testing of REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- ✓Good programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
- ✓Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle concepts
- ✓Familiarity with version control systems, test management tools, and issue-tracking platforms
- ✓Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- ✓Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and experience with application deployments
- ✓Experience in creating comprehensive test plans and authoring test cases
- ✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
