About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join JYSK's IT department, which consists of over 200 skilled colleagues. You will contribute to the development of JYSK's high-load cross-channel e-commerce platform used across 29 countries.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop a range of applications and specify features in collaboration with business areas
- →Work with newer technologies, frameworks, and platforms
- →Contribute to restructuring our IT landscape into a headless, event-driven, and microservice architecture
- →Drive and facilitate design discussions and make sound technical decisions
Requirements
- ✓Highly skilled in Java development and continuously seeking to improve skills
- ✓Writes clean code and develops flexible software architecture
- ✓Experience with Java web technologies
- ✓Familiar with test-driven development and thorough code testing
- ✓Extensive knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, and scaling complex applications
- ✓Experience with some of the frameworks and platforms we use
