We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our People team and support our employees throughout North America. This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio.
In this role, you can expect to:
β’ Generate HR-related documents for employes:
β’ Creates documents for employees including employment verification letters other documents as required.
β’ Creates and files job change letters and employment agreements.
β’ Assists people team with review, delivery and filing of letters and documentation in tandem with semi-annual cyclical programs and ad-hoc employees.
β’ Administer and coordinate benefits for US and Canadian employees:
β’ Supports Employees with benefits enrollment and administration.
β’ Sends out organizational communications around benefit updates and deadlines.
β’ Ensures all benefit enrolment and updates are processed in a timely fashion.
β’ Assist in the administration of employee onboarding and offboarding:
β’ Collects relevant documents for new employeeβs onboarding.
β’ Conducts a new hire onboarding orientation with new employees during their first week.
β’ Completes updates to employee profiles on HRIS system during onboarding and offboarding.
β’ Communicates with and assists offboarding employees.
β’ Supports People Team programs, projects, systems, and reporting:
β’ Responds to employee and manager inquiries about people team processes and programs.
β’ Assists in People team projects by executing tasks, taking meeting minutes, scheduling follow-up meetings, and coordinating team timelines.
β’ Supports in creating and updating reports for employee performance management and compensation.
β’ Prepares monthly and ad-hoc reports and org charts, as well as other documents and reports as needed
β’ Executes processes in HRIS system (Dayforce) as per established processes.
β’ Proactively suggests and recommends updates and optimizations to established processes to promote efficiency.
β’ Other related duties as required.
Your background includes:
β’ Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
β’ 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or administration.
β’ Intermediate to advanced level in Google Suite and MS Office Suite.
β’ Fluency in French is an asset but not required.
β’ Knowledge of Canadian (BC, QC, PEI) and US (CA, TX) employment law is a asset but not required.
β’ Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Driven, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced and agile environment.
