About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Kabam, a world leader in developing multiplayer games. This role involves building and maintaining complex systems and tools to support game teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead software design, development, and maintenance, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices
- →Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to team members
- →Architect solutions for complex technical challenges and make informed technology decisions
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments
- →Ensure system performance, scalability, and security
- →Resolve critical software issues and drive documentation for knowledge sharing
- →Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to project planning
- →Act as a technology subject matter expert and drive process improvement
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- ✓5+ years in software engineering with back-end/server-side technologies
- ✓Advanced technical experience in Node.js or TypeScript
- ✓Strong database experience (RDBMS, preferably MongoDB)
- ✓Experience with RESTful API systems
- ✓Experience in Unity3D, PostgreSQL, and Redis
- ✓Practical knowledge of iOS and Android platforms
- ✓Experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
- ✓Experience in professional game production
