About the Role
We are looking for a mid-level Java backend developer to join KAYAK, a leading travel search engine. You will implement new features and maintain our search and booking technology, working with over 200 travel partners and 500,000 hotels.
Key Responsibilities
- →Optimize search and booking logic for global corporate clients
- →Build and maintain high-performance integrations with third-party APIs
- →Take ownership of designs from concept to deployment
- →Participate in code reviews and architectural steering
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- ✓5+ years of experience in Java
- ✓Hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem and relational/NoSQL databases
- ✓Strong English communication skills
- ✓Ability to design and implement engineering initiatives with minimal guidance
