About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join the Developer Infrastructure Team at Klaviyo. This role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation that improves developer productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and build the next generation of tools that simplify CI/CD pipelines
→Contribute to standards for repositories and refine benchmarks for PRs, cycle time, velocity, code quality metrics, and systemic reliability
→Spearhead efforts to leverage AI within the CI/CD lifecycle
→Work closely with internal users to understand their use cases and help roll out best CI/CD workflows
→Oversee the health and performance of the entire CI/CD pipeline

Requirements

✓5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code
✓Experience with debugging complex issues and performing root-cause analysis
✓Comfortable working across the stack, from debugging React components to optimizing Python integration tests
✓Passionate about the intersection of AI and Software Quality
✓Deep experience with modern CI/CD tools and understanding of integrating automated testing into high-frequency deployment pipelines
✓Technologies used include Python, Django, Go, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, Jest, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Buildkite, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and AI tools like Claude, Cursor, Copilot.
