About the Role
Maine Technical Source (MTS) is seeking a GIS Sales Support Specialist to join their team in Yarmouth, Maine. This role involves supporting the sales and office team by demonstrating technical products and providing customer assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the MTS sales and office team by demonstrating surveying, engineering, and construction instruments
- →Provide quotes, pricing structure details, and technical support to customers
- →Greet customers in the showroom, answer questions and take showroom orders
- →Submit all customer orders and repair ticket information timely and accurately
- →Serve as the main point of contact to coordinate and respond to customers regarding training and customer events
- →Stay up to date on new technology regarding hardware and software solutions
Requirements
- ✓High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- ✓Previous experience in sales or customer service supporting technical products preferred
- ✓Ability and eagerness to learn product technical specifications
- ✓Strong customer service skills and a desire to solve problems
- ✓Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and the MTS team
- ✓Tech savvy with the ability to troubleshoot software and technical issues
- ✓Previous CAD software experience preferred
- ✓Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
- ✓Ability to lift 30 pounds
- ✓Ability to work from the Yarmouth office/showroom Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, and ability to travel to other office sites (NY, MA), trade shows and client sites.
