About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join the Investments team at Kota, responsible for making workplace pensions and retirement savings intuitive and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain employer and employee-facing UIs for pension and retirement products using React and modern frontend frameworks
- →Translate complex financial data and workflows into clear, elegant interfaces
- →Contribute to frontend architecture decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability
- →Create reusable components and design patterns for Kota's platform
- →Collaborate with design, product, and backend engineers to ship features quickly
- →Own your code in production, debug issues, and improve reliability
- →Participate in code reviews and technical planning
Requirements
- ✓3–6 years of experience building production web applications with React
- ✓Familiarity with frameworks like Remix.js, Next.js, or React Router
- ✓Strong instincts for UX and design
- ✓Comfortable working with TypeScript and TailwindCSS
- ✓Experience consuming REST APIs and working with structured financial data
- ✓Thrive in small, fast-moving teams
- ✓Comfortable with ambiguity
