About the Role
The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing infrastructure, code integration, and deployment automation within the Technology team. This position requires experience in at least one cloud provider and a passion for implementing modern DevSecOps standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, implement, and test build, deployment, and configuration management solutions in a Microsoft-based implementation
- →Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
- →Manage CI and CD processes, tools, and configurations with the team
- →Contribute to new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
- →Provide technical guidance and educate team members on DevOps methodologies
- →Develop and implement improvements to the IaC codebase using Terraform
- →Develop and maintain CaC standards using Packer and Chef
- →Monitor metrics using Datadog and propose ways to improve application observability
- →Create and maintain documentation for build and deployment processes
- →Participate in sprint planning, implementation, standups, and demos
- →Create PoC and prototype solutions for varied technical initiatives
Requirements
- ✓5+ years previous experience in DevOps or related IT, computer, or operations field
- ✓Experience with software development, infrastructure development, or operations
- ✓Experience with Microsoft products, including Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET
- ✓Experience with SCM tools such as Git
- ✓Experienced with at least one scripting language
- ✓Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus, and GitHub
- ✓Good interpersonal skills and communication
- ✓Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- ✓Experience working in an Agile (scrum/kanban) environment
- ✓Passionate about working with integrity and continuous personal and team improvement

- ✓Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a similar field
