As Kpler continues to scale, the requirement to build strong and efficient processes is essential to delivering a seamless experience for our Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) function. We are seeking a US Compliance Specialist to manage and streamline our due diligence response process while supporting the ongoing optimisation of LRC systems, tools, and workflows. You will play a key role in strengthening the operational backbone of the LRC team - taking ownership of DDQ responses, coordinating cross-functional input, managing internal and external information requests, and driving process improvements, ensuring maintenance of accurate legal, compliance and corporate information. You will also support systems administration and ensure consistent compliance with regulatory and investor requirements.  Your work will enable scalability and ensure a smooth, responsive experience for internal teams and external stakeholders globally to meet the expectations of a fast-growing, global organisation. Key Responsibilities Due Diligence Coordination • Coordinate with the other Compliance team members the completion of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), including those with technical and cybersecurity inquiries, collaborating with relevant departments (IT, Engineering, LRC). • Assist in gathering, organising, and formatting responses to DDQs, ensuring accurate and compliant responses to technical questions. • Maintain up-to-date templates and document repositories for frequently asked questions and recurring DDQ topics. US Regulatory & Public Sector Compliance Support • Support compliance with applicable US federal, state and public sector requirements, including maintaining accurate representations for government and regulated customers. • Manage and maintain Kpler’s SAM.gov registration, including entity information updates, representations and certifications, and annual renewals. • Conduct research and support compliance efforts related to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other applicable public procurement frameworks (e.g., DFARS, agency-specific requirements), under the supervision of the Legal team. • Assist with DDQs, RFPs, and customer requests involving US government, public sector, or regulated entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency of legal and compliance information. LRC Systems & Process Management (back-up) • Maintain, update and optimise workflows across LRC systems (e.g., Jira, IronClad, ComplyAdvantage, shared LRC drive) with the other Paralegal. • Jointly support and maintain the LRC Jira ticketing system with the other Paralegal, ensuring consistent usage, continuity of service, and appropriate coverage across time zones • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot challenges and implement system improvements. • Manage user access and permissions across LRC platforms, ensuring compliance and accuracy. • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and scale processes across the LRC function. LRC Support & Management • Organise and manage support pathways; escalate complex requests to appropriate LRC team members and/or any other internal/external stakeholders. • Respond to initial queries (e.g., policies, systems, workflows) and ensure efficient request resolution through Jira, centralised inbox or designated slack channels. • Monitor ticket resolution times and maintain SLA performance standards, providing insights for continuous improvement. Data & Compliance • Conduct legal and compliance research on applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, and summarize findings to support LRC team initiatives and decision-making. • Maintain a secure and organised database of legal, technical, and compliance documents for efficient DDQ reference. • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems, adhering to internal policies and data protection standards. • Support LRC processes including reporting, audit preparation, and access control. Skills and Experience • 1-2 years of experience in a Paralegal, Compliance or Legal Support role, preferably within a technology, SaaS or data industry. • Proven experience supporting due diligence and DDQ processes, including completion and coordination of legal, compliance, security, and third-party risk questionnaires. • Familiarity with US and Canadian regulatory frameworks relevant to technology and data-driven businesses (e.g., FAR, DFARS, SAM.gov, data protection, sanctions, export controls). • Experience maintaining government or compliance portals and registrations (e.g., SAM.gov). • Experience conducting legal and regulatory research and preparing clear, structured summaries to support legal and compliance teams (non-advisory). • Strong experience managing legal, compliance, and corporate documentation, including templates, standard responses, and knowledge repositories. • Hands-on experience working with legal and compliance systems (e.g., contract lifecycle management tools, ticketing systems, compliance platforms, shared document environments). • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, Engineering, Sales, and other internal stakeholders. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt content for US, Canadian, and international stakeholders. Nice to have • Experience supporting US and/or Canadian public sector, government, or regulated customers, including DDQs, RFPs, or compliance representations. • Exposure to audit, investor due diligence, or third-party risk management processes. • Prior experience working in a global, multi-jurisdictional organisation, supporting stakeholders across time zones.
