About the Role
Join Kraken's Core Infrastructure Team as a Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain Kraken's infrastructure. You'll work in a 24/7 environment to ensure the reliability and availability of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and operate Kraken’s Core Infrastructure Platform
- →Deliver, monitor, and support staging and production systems
- →Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability
- →Design, build, and maintain infrastructure tooling and CI/CD pipelines
- →Lead migrations across cloud and on-prem environments
- →Manage container orchestration platforms and service deployments
- →Implement infrastructure security best practices
- →Operate and optimize distributed systems and ingress infrastructure
Requirements
- ✓5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or backend infrastructure engineering roles
- ✓3+ years programming in Rust, Golang, or Python
- ✓Strong expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure architecture
- ✓Deep experience with Docker and orchestration platforms
- ✓Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- ✓Strong monitoring and observability experience
- ✓Solid Linux systems knowledge and networking fundamentals
- ✓Experience implementing secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to operate independently
