About the Role
We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team at Kraken, a technology company focused on creating a smart, sustainable energy system. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team working on an AI-driven platform for energy management.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop a new Quoting system to enable clients to quote their customers quickly and accurately
- →Develop scalable frameworks and APIs for flexible, self-serve quoting across multiple product types
- →Abstract specific problems into generic building blocks for client systems
- →Solve design challenges and domain modeling in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
- →Work with technologies including Python, Django, GraphQL, and AWS
Requirements
- ✓Ability to think abstractly to solve general problems
- ✓Skills in identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing code
- ✓Experience with developing development frameworks or language design
- ✓Proven ability to design and deliver high-performing, scalable systems
- ✓Experience with Celery and async processing
- ✓Experience with Postgres, REST, and GraphQL APIs
