About the Role
We are looking for a Technical QA Tester Intern to join our team at Larian Studios. This role involves performing various types of manual testing and assisting the programming team to ensure the quality and stability of our high-quality role-playing games.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform all kinds of manual testing (regression, integration etc)
- →Closely assist the programming team with testing specific changes before code gets in the main developer branches
- →Test and help improve our production pipelines and tools
- →Test new builds to ensure stability of the tools
- →Follow priorities given by QA Lead to ensure current team wide goals are met
- →Report bugs, validate bug corrections
- →Assure follow-up of tickets during different production phases
- →Manage the bug tracking system
- →First line of support for the production team with regard to any technical issues
- →Work within an international team on a daily basis, spread between multiple studios across the world
Requirements
- ✓Passion for video games
- ✓Knowledge of programming and/or scripting
- ✓Experience working with game engines
- ✓Good judgement to estimate the significance and consequences of the bugs
- ✓Rigorous and methodical, autonomous and resourceful approach
- ✓Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ✓You are a team player and willing to take responsibility
- ✓A professional level of written and spoken English*
- ✓Capacity to work in a fast paced environment
- ✓Must already be eligible to work in the country and possess any required documents (Visa/permits)
- ✓Currently completing or recently graduated from a program of study relevant to the role
