About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to build hands-on experience supporting, maintaining, and improving network infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and IT staff to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient network operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)
- →Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- →Support day-to-day network operations, including user access and permissions
- →Perform basic network administration tasks (IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
- →Help maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures
- →Assist with network security tasks, including patching and vulnerability remediation
- →Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed
- →Participate in system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery activities
- →Provide technical support to internal users related to network issues
Requirements
- ✓Active Secret clearance or higher required.
