THE MISSION
Our client is building the definitive AI platform for intellectual property β one that fundamentally changes how patents are created, prosecuted, and analyzed worldwide. Their ambition is to build a generational AI company that scales to $1B+ in revenue.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a ground-floor GTM opportunity at a company that has already achieved eight-figure ARR. You will be one of the first Account Executives, directly responsible for building and scaling the sales motion. The sales playbook you build will define the entire commercial organization. If you want to be the person who turns product-market fit into a world-class GTM engine, this is the role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and own the end-to-end GTM motion from lead generation through close and onboarding
- Network with IP leaders and key decision-makers at law firms and enterprise companies, attending conferences and events globally
- Conduct product demonstrations that showcase how AI transforms patent practice, teaching prospects the future of IP
- Negotiate and close enterprise deals, managing the full sales cycle
- Develop the sales playbook, documenting learnings that enable the team to scale
- Provide direct feedback to a team of AI PhDs, software developers, and patent attorneys on customer needs, product improvements, and new features
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the IP ecosystem
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the company's path to $1B+ ARR
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of sales experience in a closing role, with a proven track record as an exceptionally high-performing AE or sales professional at a startup or tech company
- Experience selling complex SaaS products to mid-market & enterprise companies in a technical or vertical niche
- Exceptionally clear communication skills (written and verbal)
- Metrics-driven mindset, extreme work ethic, and high energy
- Comfortable with ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
- Technical undergraduate degree in a STEM subject (strong preference)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with patent prosecution or legal background
- Existing IP network (in-house counsel and/or law firm contacts)
- Entrepreneurial experience β side projects, early-stage startups, or interesting and unusual hobbies
