About the Role

We are seeking a Field CTO for Media & Entertainment to serve as the strategic technical owner of this vertical, bridging cutting-edge AI infrastructure with business goals of innovative companies in media and entertainment. This role involves defining technical posture and driving product direction through engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

→Own the end-to-end technical strategy for lighthouse deals, including data consolidation projects and infrastructure migrations
→Translate infrastructure decisions into direct business impact for executive stakeholders
→Uncover technical requirements by translating vague business goals into precise engineering needs
→Identify and validate relationships with critical ISVs in the media landscape
→Chair quarterly M&E Product Summit with Core Engineering leadership
→Direct engineering teammates to build high-leverage assets

Requirements

✓10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or distributed systems
✓Executive presence and ability to present technical roadmaps to C-Suite
✓Product-minded leadership experience defining platform strategy
✓Deep expertise in GPU architectures, Kubernetes orchestration, high-performance parallel file systems, and networking constraints
✓Inference optimization expertise with understanding of model serving nuances
✓Industry fluency in at least two M&E sub-sectors: Gaming, Multimodal Generative Models, AdTech, or VFX
✓Ability to distinguish between customers needing raw bare-metal access and those needing managed endpoints
