YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Germany is the second new international market for Lexroom and is not a cold start. With 4 co-design partnerships already signed with local law firms and 50 customers active on the platform. The market is validated. Now we need the right Sales Leader to scale it.
As Head of Sales Germany, you are the commercial engine of our German operation. You join a team already in place (Legal Expert, Marketing Specialist, 2 AEs, 1 SDR) and your job is to lead them to revenue. You own the numbers.
- Own the revenue target: Drive the German business from 0 to 1 being the pipeline owner. Every decision, priority and activity should be evaluated through one lens: does this accelerate ARR?
- Lead the sales motion end-to-end: Manage the full sales cycle—prospecting, pipeline management, demos, negotiation, and closing—for small and mid-sized law firms.
- Player-coach on the floor: Lead by example alongside the AE team. Run the sales routine: daily standups, pipeline reviews, forecasting, 1-1s. Bring CRM discipline and accountability from day one.
- Grow and deepen co-design partnerships: Build on the 4 existing partnerships with local law firms to co-develop product modules. Leverage these relationships for credibility, PR, and new revenue.
- Adapt positioning and pricing: Work with the CRO to localise Lexroom’s value proposition for the German legal market, ensuring relevance and competitive fit.
- Build local brand presence: Represent Lexroom at German legal tech events, panels, and industry forums. Drive LinkedIn communications and coordinated PR around partnership announcements.
- Close the feedback loop with HQ: Feed competitive insights, customer signals, and product needs back to headquarters regularly to shorten the iteration cycle.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
This is a sales leadership role. We’re looking for someone who is fundamentally a seller—someone who loves the pipeline, drives urgency, and closes deals—and who can also lead team to do the same.
- 5+ years in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a quota-carrying role in SaaS or technology. You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Sales leadership experience: You have managed a sales team and you know how to run a high-performance sales routine (pipeline review, forecast, 1-1s, coaching).
- Hunter mentality: You are comfortable in running both inbound and outbound motions, and personally closing complex deals—not just managing others who do.
- German legal or regulatory market knowledge: A solid understanding of the German legal sector is a strong plus. A legal background or prior experience selling into law firms or legal departments is highly desirable.
- Experience in new market or product launches: You have scaled a product in a new geography or from an early-stage go-to-market. You know how to build pipeline from scratch and prioritise ruthlessly.
- CRM discipline and data-driven approach: You manage by numbers. Clean pipeline, accurate forecasting, and rigorous CRM hygiene are non-negotiable for you.
- Native in German and fluent in English: Essential for engaging with local clients and coordinating with the international HQ team.
- High adaptability and resilience: Startup pace, ambiguous situations, and shifting priorities energise rather than destabilise you.
