About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Counsel to serve as the day-to-day internal legal leader for Life Space Digital, focusing on commercial work and people-related legal risk. This hands-on role requires someone who thrives in high-velocity environments and helps the business move forward with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- →Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts including agency agreements, advertiser terms, MSAs, and property/building agreements
- →Develop and refine templates and playbooks to enable deal velocity while managing legal risk
- →Review and negotiate insurance, indemnification, and risk allocation provisions
- →Provide real-time legal guidance on commercial opportunities and obligations
- →Partner with HR and leadership on employment-related matters and policy development
- →Support consistent handling of employee lifecycle matters in alignment with company values
Requirements
- ✓7–10+ years’ experience in commercial and HR-related legal work
- ✓Experience as first or second in-house counsel at a high-growth startup
- ✓Direct contract negotiation experience and employment law execution
- ✓Experience reviewing insurance and indemnity structures in commercial agreements
- ✓Ability to work with business leaders, HR, Finance, and external partners
- ✓Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal)
- ✓Comfortable operating in a cross-border business environment
