About the Role

We are looking for a Capital Account Manager to join our Capital Sales Team. This role is responsible for managing a book of eligible merchants who have been offered funding through Lightspeed Capital. The position focuses on business development activities to drive awareness and adoption of our financial services offering.

Key Responsibilities

→Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote our financial services offering
→Provide high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness on Lightspeed Capital for merchants
→Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and identify financial service opportunities
→Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize business growth
→Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service
→Employ business development and relationship management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets
→Provide regular feedback as the voice of the merchant to business leaders
→Understand and communicate the risk aspects of Merchant Capital Advances

Requirements

✓Sales experience, preferably selling financial service products, with a track record of high performance
✓Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment
✓Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage pipeline
✓Strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships internally and externally
✓Ability to work collaboratively with adjacent teams
