About the Role
We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join our Telematics & Road Safety teams at Lyft. This role focuses on building and maintaining features on the telematics platform to enhance safety and affordability for Lyft users.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, data scientists, and backend engineers
- →Design, implement, and maintain iOS applications that collect and process telematics data
- →Implement pixel-perfect UI designs and advanced animations for road safety products
- →Write well-crafted, well-tested, and maintainable code
- →Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge
- →Contribute to the team's roadmap and architecture discussions
- →Participate in hiring activities including technical interviews
- →Support and unblock team members to foster a collaborative environment
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 3+ years of software engineering industry experience
- ✓Experience with large scale iOS applications
- ✓Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, unit and snapshot testing
- ✓Experience with architecture paradigms like unidirectional and reactive programming
- ✓Strong product sense with attention to usability and design
- ✓Ability to work with geographically distributed teams
- ✓Experience with creating shared components
