We are looking for a Security Analyst to join our growing engineering team at Lyft. This role focuses on protecting our systems and services from cyber attacks, ensuring the security of our users' data.
Key Responsibilities
- →Respond promptly to security incidents by orchestrating coordinated responses across engineering teams.
- →Analyze and prioritize high-quality security alerts that could impact the organization.
- →Develop automation and tooling to enhance the efficiency of the incident response team.
- →Collaborate with the Detection Engineering Team to implement new security strategies.
- →Conduct threat hunting operations to uncover detection gaps and refine security processes.
- →Assess the organization's threat landscape to prioritize proactive security measures.
- →Cultivate and maintain key partnerships within and outside the organization.
Requirements
- ✓Strong drive to learn and grow within the cybersecurity domain.
- ✓Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat landscape and best practices.
- ✓Familiarity with TTPs, anomaly detection, and behavior analysis.
- ✓Scripting and automation skills with basic experience in cloud technologies like AWS/GCP.
- ✓Strong understanding of operating systems and networking.
- ✓Investigative mindset with log analysis and forensic trail-following abilities.
- ✓Ability to aggregate and correlate datasets to identify suspicious patterns.
- ✓Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate workflows.
- ✓Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- ✓Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and cybersecurity threats.
