About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing at MagicSchool, the premier generative AI platform for teachers. You’ll elevate how we tell our story and lead a growing PMM team to shape our GTM strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing product marketing team
- →Own MagicSchool’s product positioning, audience messaging, and value propositions
- →Enhance and enforce a company-wide GTM playbook
- →Build and manage a formal competitive intelligence function
- →Collaborate with enablement to create practical sales enablement materials
- →Ensure PMM serves as the hub for integrated campaigns
- →Establish and lead recurring alignment rituals across Product, Sales, and Marketing
Requirements
- ✓7+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, with 2–4+ years directly managing PMMs
- ✓Experience building PMM functions
- ✓Demonstrated success creating positioning frameworks and messaging architectures
- ✓Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional launches
- ✓Expert-level positioning, messaging, and narrative development
- ✓GTM rigor: launch strategy, orchestration, and post-launch measurement
- ✓Strong competitive intelligence discipline
- ✓High-quality writing and editing skills
- ✓Executive communication and cross-functional influence
- ✓Ability to build and scale processes, systems, and team operating models
- ✓Fluency with modern PMM and AI tools
- ✓High judgment, prioritization skills, and bias for action
