MaintainX powers operational excellence for 13,000+ businesses including Duracell, Univar Solutions Inc., Titan America, McDonald's, Brenntag, Cintas, Xylem, and Shell.
We recently completed a $150 million Series D funding round, bringing our total funding to $254 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion.
This role is open to one of our hub locations including Toronto, Miami, San Francisco, Montreal, and Raleigh.
As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you’ll help bring MaintainX’s product story to life by supporting messaging, launches, and go-to-market readiness for key product updates and feature releases. You’ll partner most closely with your direct Product counterpart and work with the broader Product Marketing, Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to improve GTM execution and customer adoption.
This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing.
What you’ll do:
Messaging & positioning
• Draft clear, simple, customer-value messaging for product features and releases, and iterate based on feedback.
• Tailor messaging for different channels (e.g., email, in-app, blog/launch notes) while maintaining MaintainX voice and quality bar.
Product launches
• Own feature launches end-to-end (timelines, asset checklists, stakeholder coordination, launch readiness) with guidance and prioritized direction from your manager.
• Support larger launches by coordinating assets and execution, with manager support especially on messaging and strategy.
Revenue enablement
• Help enable customer-facing teams with the right collateral (one-pagers, FAQs, talk tracks, short decks) and assist with training logistics so teams can sell and support more effectively.
• Collect and synthesize feedback from Sales/CS on what’s landing (and what isn’t) to improve materials over time.
Campaign + adoption support
• Partner with Growth & Demand Gen to support campaigns that drive feature adoption, upsell, and expansion—especially around new releases.
Voice of customer + competitive learning
• Use product analytics, customer calls, win/loss notes, and internal insights to understand buyer needs and improve how we position and launch.
• Build foundational competitive context for your product area and share learnings with your PMM/PM partners.
About you:
• 1–3 years of experience in product marketing or a related role (e.g., marketing, sales enablement, product, customer success, or content), with a desire to grow into broader PMM ownership.
• Strong writing and communication skills—able to turn product details into clear, customer-friendly messaging.
• Organized and reliable project manager: creates plans, hits deadlines, and proactively flags risks/blockers.
• Collaborative teammate who builds strong relationships cross-functionally and can incorporate feedback quickly.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Bonus if you
• Have experience serving asset-intensive industries (manufacturing, distribution, facilities, etc.).
