About the Role
We are looking for an Android Developer to join the Hinge team and contribute to developing and maintaining the Hinge Android mobile application. This role focuses on implementing new product features, fixing issues, and improving the mobile application user experience using the latest Android tools.
Key Responsibilities
- βCollaborate with a diverse team of developers, designers, and product managers to build features that prioritize high quality and user engagement.
- βDevelop and enhance your understanding of Kotlin fundamentals to create efficient and effective solutions.
- βGain a thorough understanding of Android development principles and design patterns to build intuitive and user-friendly applications.
- βTriage, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure the stability and performance of our application.
- βContribute to the long-term health and evolution of the codebase by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- βPerform code reviews to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- βEngage in team ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and promote agile methodologies.
- βMaintain clear and positive communication with team members and other departments.
Requirements
- β2-5 years of experience in Android development.
- βExperience publishing at least one application on the Google Play Store.
- βProficiency in Kotlin and a good understanding of Android SDKs and frameworks.
- βSolid foundation in software development principles.
- βStrong communication skills to facilitate productive collaborations.
- βOwnership and quality focus to create high-quality user experiences.
