About the Role

We are looking for a React Feature Engineer to join Matillion, the intelligent data integration platform. This role involves developing and maintaining production-ready UI components using React and TypeScript, with a focus on clean, readable code.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop and maintain production-ready UI components using React and TypeScript
→Integrate GenAI tools into your daily workflow to automate repetitive tasks
→Review, refactor, and perfect AI-suggested code to ensure it aligns with high standards for security and performance
→Break down larger epics into manageable tasks, ensuring a consistent flow of value through continuous integration
→Contribute to front-end architecture discussions, helping to define component patterns and state management strategies
→Use observability data to monitor services and proactively suggest front-end performance enhancements
→Write robust unit and integration tests for React components

Requirements

✓Professional experience delivering web applications with React
✓Experience using AI-powered tools as a daily copilot to solve technical challenges
✓Proven ability to use a structured approach to diagnose and resolve issues within a frontend service or application
✓Experience designing functions and components that fit into a broader service architecture
✓Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control
✓Strong understanding of modern web security and a habit of writing self-documenting code
✓Ability to explain technical React concepts clearly and concisely
✓Solid understanding of the business context behind your work
