About the Role
We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team at MetroStar. This role involves interfacing with client and government leadership, providing direction to the project team, and managing all administrative functions related to government contracting.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, cultivate, and manage client relationships
- →Maintain lines of communication and delivery with government contracts and technical representative staff
- →Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work
- →Define and manage project management processes and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
- →Team build and promote the empowerment of the team, ensuring each team member is fully engaged in the project
- →Manage project financials and supporting contract documents ensuring a healthy project gross margin
- →Prioritize, lead, and manage tasking of project team and completion of assignments
- →Evaluate, prioritize, and manage impacts of project scope changes
- →Collect and translate business requirements into technical requirements
- →Escalate project risks to the appropriate MetroStar and client stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Possess a Top-Secret security clearance
- ✓Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering
- ✓Minimum of ten years of IT Project Management experience, focusing on agile projects
- ✓At least three years of specialized experience in business process analysis and change management
- ✓Demonstrated experience in executing agile programs with AI/ML
- ✓Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- ✓Experience managing large complex IT programs for Federal customers
- ✓Experience strategizing, planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project delivery team
- ✓Experience monitoring and managing the financials and staffing of an IT program
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
- ✓Strong written and oral communication skills
