RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and evolve our design system across platforms (web, mobile), ensuring scalability, accessibility, and consistency.
- Define and maintain core foundations including tokens, typography, color, spacing, layout, interaction patterns, and component libraries.
- Partner closely with engineering to ensure tight alignment between design and code, contributing to implementation standards and documentation.
- Establish governance models, contribution guidelines, and quality standards for system adoption and evolution.
- Drive alignment across product teams to balance system consistency with product-specific needs.
- Audit product experiences to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and opportunities for system improvements.
- Build robust documentation and usage guidelines to enable adoption and reduce ambiguity.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and performance best practices within the system.
- Lead system roadmap planning in collaboration with Product and Engineering.
- Mentor designers on system usage, constraints, and best practices to elevate overall design quality.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of experience in product design, with significant experience contributing to or leading a design system.
- Proven experience building, scaling, or maturing multi-product or multi-platform design systems.
- Strong understanding of design tokens, component architecture, responsive systems, and accessibility standards.
- Experience partnering closely with front-end engineering teams to ensure high-fidelity implementation.
- Deep proficiency in Figma (including libraries, variables, and component architecture).
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive adoption across teams.
- Strong systems thinking with a detail-oriented craft mindset.
- Portfolio showcasing system thinking, component logic, and real-world implementation impact.
