A BETTER BUILT WORLD [Upgrade to PRO to see link]
At Miter, weβre on a mission to help construction contractors build with confidence. If weβre successful, weβll make it easier and faster to build critical physical infrastructure - roads, bridges, utilities, data centers, housing, etc.
For decades, construction and field services contractors have had to run their businesses on outdated software: clunky, on-premise systems created in the 1980s and 1990s.
Thatβs where Miter comes in. Weβre using AI and embedded payments to rebuild the core HR, finance, and operations systems that underpin our physical economy. Using Miter, contractors like Marathon Electrical [Upgrade to PRO to see link] W.J. OβNeil [Upgrade to PRO to see link] and Truebeck Construction [Upgrade to PRO to see link] are building stronger teams, controlling job costs, and accelerating jobsite execution.
This idea is resonating. Since we launched in 2021, weβve grown to thousands of customers and tens of millions in ARR, making us one of the fastest growing vertical software companies ever. To double-down on our momentum, weβve raised $50M+ from top investors (Bessemer, Coatue, and Battery) who share our belief that weβre just getting started.
About the Team & How We Work:
As Miter's first dedicated product marketer, you'll be at the center of how we bring products to market, and how we make sure the right audiences know about them. Miter is shipping powerful new products faster than ever, and this role exists because we need someone who can build the infrastructure, processes, and assets to launch well and launch often.
The core of this role is owning launches: new products, relaunches, and new functionality alike. From roadmap to revenue, you'll work hand in hand with the product team to position what's coming, build the frameworks and timelines to plan and execute impactful launch campaigns, and develop the messaging and assets that land with our audience.
Beyond launches, you'll own Miter's messaging and positioning, build out our customer marketing motion, and help establish the systems and cadences that make the whole product marketing function run. There's a lot to build, and the opportunity to help shape how a $2T industry adopts modern software.
What You'll Do:
- Own go-to-market for new and relaunched products end-to-end β from roadmap alignment and launch planning to internal readiness, GTM campaign development, and external launch execution
- Build and maintain a launch calendar and milestone framework, defining timelines and criteria for launching products confidently internally and externally
- Create all launch assets β positioning and messaging, product pages, one-pagers, email campaigns, press releases, customer stories, and video assets β going hands-on in Figma when needed
- Shepherd cross-functional launch readiness, including the criteria for when a product is ready, internal docs and templates, and materials that help sales sell new products
- Own Miter's core messaging and positioning, including how we differentiate and tell our story across audiences and channels
- Build customer marketing and expansion programs including cross-sell campaigns and automated upsell sequences
- Own competitive intelligence and audience segmentation β and track what matters: launch pipeline, demo requests, and expansion ARR
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing with a strong track record developing messaging and positioning for specific audiences
- Proven experience running product launches end-to-end and orchestrating multi-channel go-to-market efforts across product, sales, and marketing
- Research and synthesis chops β you extract signal from customer conversations, competitive landscapes, and internal data to inform strategy
- Strong writing and storytelling skills; you turn product functionality into messages that resonate with real buyers
- Analytics fluency β you define and track KPIs like launch impact, expansion ARR, and win/loss trends
- Comfortable using AI to scale content production and marketing workflows
- Nice to have: experience in vertical SaaS, construction, or workforce/payroll

HYBRID VS. REMOTE APPROACH:
We believe the magic of Miter comes from working side by side. We also believe in work flexibility. For roles that are listed as hybrid, our approach is 3 days a week in the office giving us the chance to connect, brainstorm, and build stronger relationships. If you live within a reasonable commute to either our New York City or San Francisco offices, we ask that you work in our hybrid approach.
Otherwise, for roles listed as remote or in other cities where we don't have an office location, there is no requirement to work in our hybrid approach. We do travel a few times a year for onboarding, company-wide and team specific off-sites!
