About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support the Naval Postgraduate School’s Extended Campus programs. This role focuses on producing high-quality written materials that support academic, instructional, and institutional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write, edit, proofread, and review technical and academic documents.
- →Prepare publications, reports, white papers, fact sheets, and other written materials.
- →Ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality-assurance standards.
- →Support the development of multimedia content, web features, press releases, and newsletter articles.
- →Collaborate with faculty, staff, and subject-matter experts to gather information and translate it into clear, accessible written content.
- →Maintain version control, documentation, and editorial workflows.
Requirements
- ✓3 years of experience in technical writing, proofreading, editing, publication, review, and quality assurance.
- ✓BA/BS degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related discipline.
- ✓Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
