About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Technical Support Coordinator to join our team at Smart Energy. This role focuses on supporting technical, sales, installations, and customer support teams to ensure smooth delivery from sale through to installation and aftercare.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support audit, connection, design, and installation workflows through accurate coordination and follow-ups
- →Help reduce rework by ensuring actions and updates are completed correctly the first time
- →Follow up with installers, Sales Specialists, Connects, and internal teams to keep work progressing
- →Assist with lead generation and task allocation to support workload planning
- →Log into distributor, DNSP, and third-party portals to check application statuses and identify delays
- →Support return-to-site coordination by tracking issues, communicating updates, and escalating when needed
- →Assist with warranty administration, including logging cases and following up on progress
- →Provide clear progress updates to customers, installers, and internal teams
- →Accurately record notes, actions, and outcomes in internal systems
- →Build strong product knowledge across solar, battery, and related technologies
- →Learn relevant standards, connection requirements, and internal procedures
- →Share common issues and learnings with the Technical team to support continuous improvement
Requirements
- ✓No formal electrical, solar, or battery qualifications required
- ✓Experience in operations, coordination, administration, or support roles preferred
- ✓Comfortable working across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Confident using CRMs, online portals, and internal systems
- ✓Experience in energy, construction, or trade-based environments is a bonus — but not essential
