What Youβll Do
β’ Own and manage CDD & Compliance Assessments for complex clients within the First Line CDD Operations Function.
β’ Perform Client Risk Assessments and Customer Due Diligence (Simplified and Enhanced) during corporate onboarding.
β’ Conduct internal and external Partner Audits and ensure alignment with Modulrβs compliance framework.
β’ Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance and onboarding processes.
β’ Screen for Politically Exposed Persons and Sanctioned Individuals, ensuring regulatory adherence.
β’ Review and recommend updates to Policies and Procedures in line with evolving compliance requirements.
Who You Are
What youβll need:
β’ A curious mindset and drive to explore how AI can make a real difference.
β’ A (high-level) understanding of legislation/guidance including the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 (as amended), the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018, the Terrorism Act 2000 and Counter-Terrorism Act 2008, the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018, and HM Treasury Sanctions Notices and OFSI Guidance. Youβll also be confident applying guidance from the FCA Financial Crime Guide and SYSC Rules, JMLSG (especially Chapter 5 on Customer Due Diligence), and FCA guidance on Politically Exposed Persons.
β’ Experience in corporate onboarding and compliance across sectors and jurisdictions, ideally with Know Your Business (KYB) and enhanced due diligence in both UK and EU contexts.
β’ Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills, ethical judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
β’ Resilient, flexible, and confident in owning and evolving compliance processes to support business growth.
Nice to haves:
β’ Familiarity with Dutch regulations such as Wwft, Sanctiewet 1970 and Wft.
β’ Experience with European Corporate Client Due Diligence (KYB) and enhanced risk assessments.
β’ Exposure to AML and compliance audit procedures, including managing remediation of findings.
