About the Role
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join Mom’s Meals, a home-delivered meal service provider. This role involves maintaining the computer desktop environment, resolving technical issues, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
- →Monitor and respond quickly to requests through the IT helpdesk
- →Process Service Desk tickets based on priority
- →Modify workstation configurations and software settings
- →Maintain the helpdesk asset tracking database
- →Document internal procedures
- →Assist with onboarding of new users and equipment setup
- →Ensure workstations have all necessary equipment
- →Install, test, and configure new workstations and software
- →Maintain inventory of equipment, software, and licenses
- →Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees
- →Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
- →Perform workstation hardware and software upgrades
Requirements
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent
- ✓2+ years of relevant work experience
- ✓Knowledge of Windows 10 and basic Windows server environments
- ✓PC and Laptop imaging, configuration, and support
- ✓Strong oral and written communication skills
- ✓Ability to work without direct supervision
- ✓Self-starter with a "go-getter" mentality
- ✓Excellent customer service skills
- ✓Strong teamwork abilities
