About the Role
We are seeking a Relationship Account Manager (RAM) to join MongoDB’s Relationship Account Management team. This role focuses on driving long-term partnerships with mature customers, creating expansion and evangelism. The RAM will act as the primary point of contact for customers and leverage the MongoDB ecosystem to drive expansion and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work as a strategic advisor to customers, aligning MongoDB initiatives with their internal processes and corporate strategy
- →Build pipeline through targeted customer interactions and collaborative discovery
- →Proactively identify and nurture relationships within accounts to expand stakeholder footprint
- →Lead the sales and renewal process, from pricing and deal strategy to negotiation and implementation
- →Drive value realization to ensure clients achieve expected outcomes
- →Execute on territory management and activity expectations, including account prioritization and strategic planning
- →Maintain SFDC hygiene, including opportunity management and risk tracking
- →Own and deliver an accurate forecast of business performance
- →Leverage data signals and proactive outreach to address potential risks
- →Partner with MongoDB executives and product managers to achieve positive customer outcomes
- →Contribute to the overall culture of skill development for the RAM organization
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of quota-carrying experience in Sales or Account Management
- ✓Native French speaker
- ✓Proven track record of hitting sales targets
- ✓Ability to execute on activity and pipeline expectations
- ✓Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Background in driving value and growth with customers via virtual meetings
- ✓Demonstrated ability to articulate the value of complex enterprise technology
- ✓A mind for technology with an aptitude and curiosity to learn about databases
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Acumen for leveraging tools and data sets to gain client insights
- ✓Entrepreneurial mindset with high levels of organization and attention to detail
- ✓Team player with a passion for collaboration
- ✓Prior exposure to database, cloud, and infrastructure technology is a plus
