About the Role
We are looking for a respected and influential voice within the JavaScript community to join our team. This role focuses on educating developers through various content formats and establishing yourself as an authority in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Key Responsibilities
- →Produce high-quality technical content, including thought leadership articles, tutorials with associated code, hands-on workshops, and video content to educate and engage developers
- →Establish yourself as a recognized authority within the organization and the broader developer community
- →Deliver hands-on workshops virtually and at in-person events
- →Maintain and continually develop proficiency in complementary programming languages
- →Work closely with product and growth marketing teams to engage the developer community
- →Partner with marketing teams to create compelling messaging and strategies
- →Champion MongoDB's tools and technologies in the JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems
- →Engage with community members through forums, Meetups, and industry events
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in software development with a focus on JavaScript and TypeScript
- ✓Five years of technical experience, preferably as a developer
- ✓Proficiency in building solutions with JavaScript in enterprise contexts
- ✓Proven track record of creating educational content for JavaScript and TypeScript
- ✓Active participation in community events, conferences, webinars, or online platforms
- ✓Established presence in the JavaScript community (blogging, speaking, open-source contributions)
- ✓Willingness to travel 10% - 25%
