About the Role
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing customer service sales and driving business growth through aftermarket sales of products and services. This role involves managing business objectives by increasing market penetration through collaboration with dealers and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Achieve quarterly and yearly sales targets in turnover and margin for the assigned area.
- →Explain, share, and sign yearly contracts with dealers.
- →Provide regular follow-up on dealer results and manage incentive programs to ensure targets are met.
- →Analyze sales trends and share KPIs with dealers, including sell-in, sell-out, stock management, performance by commodity and channel, and competitor benchmarking.
- →Develop and follow-up on sales and marketing action plans with dealers to grow parts and service business across various sales channels.
- →Take ownership of all sales opportunities and issues identified by dealers, with a focus on incremental business.
- →Coach and support dealer aftermarket sales teams, including monitoring visit plans and creating customized action plans through weekly business calls and monthly meetings.
- →Schedule visits to dealers, sub-dealers, workshops, and local OEMs according to a regular calendar.
- →Provide regular sales forecasts to management, identifying risks, opportunities, deviations from the plan, and alternative strategies to achieve targets.
- →Contribute to understanding competitive positioning and provide input for future product needs and industrial footprint to meet customer demand.
