About the role
We’re rethinking how soloist and small businesses manage their banking, accounting and payments, and we’re looking for a Product Designer who thrives on bringing structure, clarity and simplicity to complex systems. You’ll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, researchers, designers and product managers to craft experiences that feel intuitive, human-centred, and distinctly MYOB.
In addition to your passion for user-centred design, you bring a demonstrable understanding of design systems ensuring consistency across a new, dynamic product offerings, including AI driven experiences. You'll tackle complex challenges while coordinating with multiple team members, playing a key role in bringing the product to market.
The skills you'll need
- Excel in mobile user experiences that solve customer problems.
- Proficient in modern mobile UI practices and patterns.
- Research and discovery techniques.
- Proven planning capabilities and processes.
- Designing and optimising user experiences, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility and business outcomes.
- Systematic approach to solving complex problems and deliver impactful solutions that move business metrics.
- Knowledge of agile development principles.
- Working experience with design systems to create consistent experiences out of shared components.
- Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within cross-functional teams are important.
- Must be organised, able to act independently in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
- Workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
