About the role
Due to internal career progression, we're looking for our newest Senior Business Development Representative. In this role, you’ll sit at the front line of our Mid-Market growth strategy, sparking meaningful conversations with prospective customers and creating quality opportunities for our sales teams. You’ll own both inbound and outbound pipeline generation within your territory, partnering closely with our sales team to progress and close opportunities, while delivering a standout experience at every interaction. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build deep SaaS sales capability in a role that’s both impactful and rewarding.
Please note - this is a 6mth contract with potential to extend or become permanent.
What will keep you busy...
• Proactively generate and qualify new mid-market opportunities through outbound calling, email, sales tools and nurturing inbound leads
• Build strong, trusted relationships with prospective customers by understanding their challenges and goals
• Work closely with Sales Representatives to progress opportunities and support deal closure
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline and opportunity targets
• Confidently articulate the value of MYOB’s solutions and effectively handle objections
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM activity to support sales outcomes
What we'd love to see from you...
• Experience in business development, sales development or lead generation within a SaaS or technology environment
• A strong results mentality, with proven experience working towards targets and KPIs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first approach
• Confidence using CRM platforms and modern sales tools
• A proactive, resilient self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for sales and a desire to grow a long-term career at MYOB
