About the Role
We are looking for a highly technical Business Analyst to lead data mapping efforts for a critical migration program. This role involves working with Salesforce backend and legacy databases to define transformation logic for engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Author detailed Source-to-Target Mapping Specifications (STTMS) mapping Legacy and Salesforce fields to Snowflake
- →Document precise transformation logic, data type conversions, and handling of nulls/edge cases
- →Identify structural differences between source and target systems and propose technical solutions
- →Act as the translator between business stakeholders and Data Engineers
- →Independently navigate the Salesforce Object Model to identify custom objects, API field names, and hidden relationships
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Salesforce backend and legacy databases (DB2/IMS)
- ✓Strong understanding of data mapping and transformation logic
- ✓Ability to create technical blueprints for migration to Snowflake
- ✓Experience with Source-to-Target Mapping Specifications (STTMS)
- ✓Ability to bridge gaps between hierarchical legacy data and relational models
- ✓Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and business teams
