About the Role
We are looking for a Research Associate to join our high-performance team developing molecular and genetic tests. You will design studies under guidance and execute experiments to support project advancement, making detailed observations and interpreting results.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute experiments in the lab using molecular biology techniques for Next Generation Sequencing
- →Analyze experimental data and discuss results with a multidisciplinary team
- →Maintain detailed lab notebooks and contribute to experimental findings
- →Process laboratory specimens following standard methods
- →Track samples using LIMS and advanced Excel techniques
- →Adhere to EHS guidelines and GLP
- →Complete required training within 30 days of hire
Requirements
- ✓BS/BA in biological science or equivalent
- ✓Minimum of 2 years Molecular Biology laboratory experience
- ✓Hands-on experience with nucleic acid techniques (DNA manipulation, PCR, qPCR)
- ✓Experience with PCR library preparation for NGS platforms
- ✓DNA isolation from biological samples
- ✓Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- ✓Effective communication skills
- ✓Self-driven and strong team player
