Position summary You’ll join cross-functional teams building mission-critical platforms for CMS, designing and delivering systems that support millions of Americans every day. You’ll help set a high bar for simplicity, reliability, and human-centered engineering across FedHealth programs. As the Senior Infrastructure Engineering Manager (FedHealth/Platform), you’ll lead a team responsible for the platforms that power multiple CMS delivery teams and vendors. Your mission is to unlock developer productivity, strengthen platform reliability, and ensure our engineering investments are aligned with real business and mission outcomes. You’ll coach and grow engineers, shape platform strategy, and stay hands-on—contributing directly to the design, architecture, and implementation of systems that enable teams to move faster, safer, and with confidence. This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership, platform excellence, and public-good impact—perfect for someone who wants to scale not just systems, but the way government technology gets delivered.
